Across London and the United Kingdom so many brothers and sisters are entering higher education whether it be university, colleges or any form of educational pursuit. I wanted to do something for those like myself in higher education. This is where the idea of a Muslim student handbook came to mind.
Our Aims behind the Muslim Student Handbook
Across London and the United Kingdom so many brothers and sisters are entering higher education whether it be university, colleges or any form of educational pursuit.
In this day and age, many of us struggle to strike a balance between our studies and our Deen, to maintain a sense of equilibrium between pursuing our education and remaining steadfast on our beautiful religion of Islam. The very point we hope to emphasise through this compilation is that:
In essence, one’s studies and one’s religion are not disconnected; rather they can complement each other when done with the correct intentions and etiquettes.
This compilation has been completed with the help of university students and the aid of Ulama – Scholars.
The aim of having students behind this compilation is such that the advices and articles contained are coming from first hand experience, and individuals who are not alien to the current situations faced by brothers and sisters entering higher education in this day and age.
In the Holy Quran, Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala Says,
‘And Remind for verily a reminder benefits the believer’ [51:55]
We pray you reap utmost benefit from The Muslim Student Handbook insha Allah.
It was an amazing experience that anyone can get involved it, especially if you are studying now.
